Aditi Rao Hydari (born 28 October 1986) is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Hindi and Tamil movies. In 2006, she made her acting debut in the Malayalam movie Prajapathi. Later, she appeared in major to minor supporting roles in a number of Hindi movies, such as the musical romantic drama Rockstar (2011), the suspenseful thriller Murder 3, the mystery Wazir , and the historical drama Padmaavata.

- She appeared in a number of South Indian films as well, including Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Kaatru Veliyidai, Sammohanam, Psycho, and Sufiyum Sujatayum, directed by Mani Ratnam (2020).
- Aditi Rao Hydari comes from two royal families: Raja J. Rameshwar Rao, a former Raja of the Wanaparthy family, and Sir Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari.
- She is the great-granddaughter of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari, a former governor of Assam, and the granddaughter of Akbar Hydari, a former prime minister of Hyderabad state in colonial India.
- Aditi Rao Hydari is the granddaughter of Shanta Rameshwar Rao, the founders of Vidyaranya School and the chairman of the publishing company Orient Blackswan, and Raja J. Rameshwar Rao, who oversaw the Wanaparthi state administration under colonial India.
