Nimrat Kaur (born 13 March 1982) is an Indian actress who appears on American television and in Hindi movies. She started out as a print model before transitioning to theatre acting. After making a few fleeting cameos, Kaur starred in Peddlers, directed by Anurag Kashyap and shown at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. She then received critical acclaim for her breakout performance in the 2013 Cannes Film Festival’s The Lunchbox, a drama co-starring Irrfan Khan.
