Huma Qureshi (born 28 July 1986) is an Indian model and actress who mainly works in Hindi-language movies. Additionally, she has been nominated for three Filmfare Awards. While working as a theatre performer and model, Qureshi earned a bachelor’s degree in history with honours from the University of Delhi. She performed in a number of theatre performances before relocating to Mumbai and signing a two-year deal to appear in television ads for Hindustan Unilever. Anurag Kashyap discovered her acting talent while filming a Samsung mobile commercial and offered her a three-film contract after he was impressed.
