Janhvi Kapoor (born 6 March 1997) is a Hindi-language film actor who is Indian. She made her acting debut in 2018 with the commercially successful love drama Dhadak. She is the daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor. In the biography Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, where she portrayed the title heroine, Kapoor later received a nomination for a Filmfare Award for Best Actress (2020).
