Kriti Sanon (born 27 July 1990) is an Indian actress who primarily features in Hindi movies. In 2014, she made her acting debut in the psychological suspense film Nenokkadine in Telugu. Sanon’s portrayal in the 2014 action movie Heropanti—her first venture into Hindi film—earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

- Kriti became interested in modelling after her sister Nupur took a picture of her, at which point her peers advised her to try her luck in the industry.
- She entered a contest on a website throughout her studies after her sister took and sent her images. She was fortunate to win the competition, receive a complimentary portfolio from Dabboo Ratnani, and sign a one-year contract with a reputable modelling agency.
- She began performing ramp walks for pay in 2009, the same year she graduated. Additionally, she worked as a model for some of the major companies in India, such as Samsung Hero, Amul Ice Cream, Closeup, Cadbury, Honda Brio, India Life Insurance, Himalaya Oil Balancing Face Wash Gel, Vivel, Kaya Skin Clinic, Reliance Trends, and others.
