Hansika Motwani (born 9 August 1991) is a Tamil and Telugu actress who works primarily in those languages. Hansika began her acting career in Hindi films as a child actor before moving on to star in Telugu films like Desamuduru (2007), Kantri (2008), and Maska (2009). She debuted in Mappillai (2011), which launched her career in Tamil film, and went on to appear in a number of financially lucrative Tamil productions, including Velayudham (2011), Engeyum Kadhal (2011), Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (2012), Singam II (2013), Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru (2013) and Aranmanai (2014). Additionally, she appeared in the Malayalam movie Villain (2017)
